Fess Up Friday

Well, I confess that I no longer know how to make rice on the stove top since I have become so accustomed to making it in my handy dandy Pampered Chef Microwavable Rice Cooker. Because I no longer know how to make rice on the stove, I had to look up a "recipe" online. While I was looking up said "recipe" I left a plastic bowl on the stove top, which wouldn't have been a big deal had I not had the broiler on cooking our pork chops for dinner. So, yes, you guessed it, I melted a plastic bowl. And the really funny part? I had left the rice directions from the original packaging on the side of the Tupperware Modular Mate I keep the rice in. And I swear I checked there prior to going online!
