Fess Up Friday

On Sunday as Greg was driving our family home from church, I was reading the newspaper and Charlotte in the way back seat of the minivan was talking and talking and talking some more. I gave the occasional, ""Uh-huh" and "Oh, really." However, my very perceptive 4 year old, then asked, "Are you listening to me, mama?" And to be honest, I wasn't, at least not fully. However, I responded that I was and then spewed out everything she said. Sound familiar, Kimberly?

I guess that Caleb has still been getting up once a night in the middle of the night. I wouldn't really know, except for when I ask Greg in the morning, who tells me that he did, because I can not hear him in the middle of the night! I am now sleeping through my baby's cries! Now before thinking that maybe Greg is getting Caleb super quick and rushes to him at the sound of his very first whimpers, I know very well that's not the case, because Greg is not that light of a sleeper! Regardless, super rock star award to Greg for getting up with Caleb and never waking me up to ask me to give him his bottle!
*Take note, Mom and Kimberly for next weekend!

Can I hate you? Not really, of course, but I must admit I don't think it is fair for the mom of a 4 month old to be sleeping all night...of course, if I was said mom I'd feel differently...but I am not- so I am hugely and sinfully jealous;)

Ha! I think I'm going to start my own Fess Up Friday as I have a really good one for this coming week.

In regards to next weekend, I probably won't hear Caleb. Alan likes to tell the story that when we first brought Landon home from the hospital he had to nudge me awake because I couldn't hear him!
